Workshop Crescent Moon Rami Library 2024
On Tuesday, May 7, 2024, I conducted a workshop on the image of the crescent moon in a camera obscura. Ibn al Haytham wondered why the image of a partial solar eclipse is a crescent, but the image of the crescent moon is not. Triangles of four meter long were constructed with strings to make clear that a triangle with a top angle of 0,5° matters.
